Eagle Island update 6-12-2022
The mold issue has not been resolved yet therefore the house/museum will not be open to the public again for the summer of 2022. The hiking trails will not open until July 16 to protect nesting birds. You will be able to look in the windows of the house.
March 19, 2022
After 2 years of rough times due to Covid 19 and it’s variants, finally, some good news! Casco Bay Sights-n-Lights will return to full operation in May of 2022. The Cribstone Grill will be reopening this May with new management and a new name, SunDrenched. A couple with long standing ties to the Islands will be running the restaurant with a slightly different mode of operation. More info to follow. We welcome them with open arms and thanks for “stepping up to the plate” and reopening this iconic location. After speaking with them a couple of times I learned they plan to put the floats back in the water and I can resume picking up and dropping off passengers from those docks. There is no better place to begin and end a sightseeing tour than there, in the shadow of the Cribstone Bridge. We are extremely grateful to SunDrenched for their graciousness in allowing us to continue to offer these tours to visitors to the Islands. We plan to open on May 21, 2022.
So “Cheers” to the new season and “Here’s” to smooth cruising!
We look forward to seeing you “On the Water”!
Capt. Len
